Client:

Conceptual Design Study for a Boutique Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, located in the former Marina Palace Hotel building, in the iconic Leblon neighborhood.

Awarded the 11th Grand Corporate Architecture Prize in the Hospitality Interiors category, the project competed against major national firms and proposed a complete retrofit of this emblematic beachfront property.

Featuring 112 guestrooms, the program also included a rooftop restaurant, pool, and bar, along with a striking lobby design. The bold concept included a single multifunctional counter integrating jewelry retail, reception, and bar. One of the most distinctive features was a system of custom reflector lights projecting patterns inspired by Rio’s famous sidewalks onto the floor, establishing a poetic connection to the city’s urban identity.
